The Nile is the longest river

The world. Its water brings life

To the desert countries that it

Flows through. Most of the people

Of Egypt live along its banks.

It has two main branches.

They are called the White Nile and

The Blue Nile because of the different

Colours of their water.

The White Nile begins as the

River kagera in the small African

Country of Burundi .It runs into Lake

Victoria the largest lake in Africa

And then heads north through

                    Swamps and desert.
